The electrical connection mode between neutral point three-phase AC power grid and earth, called grounding mode for neutral point. Neutral point grounding resistor principle diagram as follows:

Neutral point of transformer, the grounding resistor has two ways:
On the secondary side the transformer is a star connection method, the neutral point grounding resistor straight. (see Figure.1)
On the secondary side the transformer is a triangle connection method, the neutral point grounding transformer grounding through grounding transformer. (see Figure. 2)
